Hatori was glad that Shigure was quiet for a while, but what Shigure said after the silence, wasn't worth waiting for. Hatori sighed, but really didn't know what to say. Hatori then thought about what Shigure might have done if he had seen Kana. "Did you talk to her Shigure?"

Shigure waited patiently for Hatori's response. When Hatori finally answered him, Shigure thought about his response before he said anything. " Well I wanted to I'll admit that, but she was with her new husband and I didn't want to interrupt. I didn't even have to though. She came up to me. She recognized me from when I dated Mayuko,"Shigure said calmly.

Hatori nodded as though understanding, then gave up trying to keep Shigure quiet long enough for Hatori to listen to his breathing and heart. So he turned his back to Shigure to put back the stethoscope. Before turning back he sighed and answered, so that he wouldn't have to face Shigure while answering, and maybe Shigure would drop it, "How did she seem?"

Shigure thought for a minute. He knew his friend didn't want to talk about, but he needed to talk about Kana once in a while. Shigure knew it was better that he talked about it rather then be sad about it all by himself latter tonight. " Well she seemed pretty good. I mean she's pretty. Age hasn't affected her yet. She looked happy. Then again she seemed a bit sad too. I don't know maybe I reminded her of what she had subconsciously. I mean I don't blame her if I had you then lost it all I'd be pretty upset. You're quite the catch Ha-San," Shigure said half serious half jokingly.

Hatori now had his back to Shigure as he spoke. Keeping silent about this stuff was his trait but he really couldn't keep silent about it anymore. He really did still miss Kana but he was so good at hiding it, knowing that his friends still saw through it. He turned around again having the stethoscope around his neck now. He looked up at Shigure and placed his hands on his neck, Hatori's hands weren't cold like most doctors, and they were very soft to the touch, and the topic of Kana made him remember when she and he used to go for walks holding hands. Her hands were extremely soft and smaller than his, it made him want to hold them longer,"...I..." That was the only letter he could speak, almost confessing something to Shigure. Not wanting to let all his sorrow in anymore but thought against it and instead changed the subject,"I haven't seen Mayuko for a while...I know since your slightly....And I mean slightly don't get ahead of yourself when I say this...But since you did go to school as the role of Tohru's guardian...You must have seen her, how is she doing?"

Shigure gave Hatori a sad smile. He knew it was hard for Hatori to talk about Kana. Shigure let him change the subject from Kana to Mayuko. " Well I did see her. She looked very good. In fact she was pretty hot. You know she asked about you. She wanted to know how you were doing," Shigure said casually. Hm maybe I can get Hatori to think of another girl. I mean Mayuko is very pretty. Then again she is Kana's friend. Shigure gave Hatori a lopsided smile and scratched the back of his head. " Then of course she couldn't wait to get rid of me. Apparently I'm just a bit too much for her to deal with. Not that I blame her," Shigure said with a laugh.

Hatori turned away and smiled at Shigure's remark,"yeah...You really are to much to handle." He grabbed the two sticks to get a sample of the saliva in Shigure's throat. Another one of his oh so favorite things to do when someone, well...Only Shigure is sick, and he already had his plan planned down to the very last detail,"I...was thinking maybe I was starting to like her, you know, she is pretty cute and sweet." He gave Shigure a smirk. His words weren't all lies, he was liking her and she was cute, but he wasn't sure how at all she felt about him and until then he only had a minor crush on a pretty girl,"open up..." Hatori's smirk now turned into a smirk of pure mad man fun.

Shigure smiled at Hatori.Aw Ha'ri has a little school boy crush. How cute. I don't know if he would appreciate me saying that out loud. Oh well." You know you sound like your in high school again. It's kind of cute. So do you want me to ask her what she thinks about you. Or perhaps you want me to spy on her. You know see if she seems interested in someone else. Hm what else do high school kids do when they like someone," Shigure said jokingly. When he saw what Hatori was going to do next he began to panic. " Um you know what. I think I'm feeling much better. There's really no need for that. Honestly I'm fine. It seems to be just a small insignificant cold. I'm not sneezing or anything," Shigure said trying to get out. He got closer to the door when he started to sneeze.Crap maybe I shouldn't have said that. I think I just jinxed myself. He'll never let me out now.

"Oh no Shigure that just wouldn't be right..." as he locked the door in a normal manner, as though he did this to all his patients,"it would be a shame to see you lying somewhere in the street...Or the wild as your dog form...I do hear crows and falcons do eat the road kill." Hatori turned and was now literally laughing to himself. He turned to his desk and took out the needle as well,"I do believe you haven't had your flu shot for awhile now...But first..Lets check if you have strep." Hatori hounded in on Shigure slowly. Who could have known a seahorse could be so cruel...

Shigure frowned at Hatori. Now how am I getting out of this. Think think think. Ok what are you good at. Well there's...but that wont be useful after all he's not a woman. Of course blackmail!" Alright I'll make you a deal. You wont stab me with a needle and I wont base my next book all on you".
