Talk About Late Celebration « Thread Started on Jan 31, 2009, 5:17am »
Hatori hated the festival, yes an excuse for him to get wasted but not show a sign of it to the others, even though when he was alone he would sometimes go out to another bar and talk to some fine ladies. Yes, the man had secrets of his own and preferred no one knew anything about them. He was all dressed up in his traditional robe of every New years festival of the zodiacs, he was looking sharp and mighty fine for the after party he went and had. Hoping this year and the next Ayame and Shigure didn't beg to sleep over his house again. He walked into the main hall of the Shoma estate where they held the festival and was once again dazzled by the lights hanging,"Year of Haru. Won't his dark side like that tonight." he could remember last New Years, it was pleasant, for a time. He walked over to the long table and took his seat, already pouring himself a glass of Saki.

Shigure found Hatori and walked over to him. Shigure wasn't in his normal cloths. Since it was New Years he had dressed up in a nice Kimono. He went over to sit by Hatori and grabbed a cup himself. " Well happy New Years I guess. I suggest we get rid of this night with a bit of Saki. So come on pour me some," Shigure said with a smile. Shigure didn't really like festivals. He never did, but he had to go. " So come on Hatori I know you have your wild side. I did grow up with you. How about you, Ayaa, and I get together and well get drunk. It would be fun. Just like old times, and you know you want to," Shigure said.

He looked up at Shigure and handed him a big bottle of Saki,"I allow you to get drunk if you don't have me drive you home like last time, or end up behind a dumpster at some poor old woman's house again." He drank down his share and placed the cup back on the table,"for such a big family and place...This place seems so bare." Hatori rested his leg against the table and leaned slightly back just letting the comfort of the place sink in, he was in for a looooooooong night. He could just feel it now.

Shigure grinned at his friend and leaned onto the table with his elbows. " Don't worry I do have some control. Besides no one can actually expect me to get through the night completely sober. No one can do that with this family," Shigure said taking a sip of Saki. Shigure looked around taking everything in. " You know there is one good thing out of all this. You, Ayame, and I can hang out like old times. Get drunk and just have some fun by ourselves. You have to admit. Nothing was ever boring when all of us were together".

Fruits Basket Theme Song I was so happy when you smiled,
Your smile breaks through the clouds of grey,
Far from the sunny days that lie and sleep,
Waiting with patience for the spring,
When the flowers will bloom renewed again,
Knowing there's more beyond the pain of today,
Although the scars of yesterday remain,
You can go on living as much as your heart believes,
You can't be born again,
All though you can change,
Let's stay together always.
